On the evening of September 17th, 2014, Canandaigua Composite Squadron held a Change of Command ceremony.  Major John McKelvey passed the charter and colors on to Major James McClure.  Maj McKelvey joined Civil Air Patrol in 2002 and has served as Squadron Commander for the last 5 years. He will continue to support the squadron leadership while also participating at the Finger Lakes Group level as a spotter for DDR missions.
